Our aim is to be broad and inclusive, and to involve people right across the movement. Jeremy Corbyn has rightly challenged the Labour Party to re-think the way in which it does politics. This is a challenge we whole-heartedly embrace.
Our starting point is the belief that a more equal distribution of power is essential to creating a fair society in which everyone has a chance to flourish. By organising with people in their communities to make this a reality, the Labour movement can act as a force for positive change across the country.
Labour Together Communities Fund
To succeed as a party and tackle the challenges we face as a country, we must be more proactive in the way we work with people in local communities. The Labour Communities Fund will support grassroots projects initiated by Labour Party members and backed by local elected representatives.
